Which letters can I get?

25 letters are in stock today. The letter index lists every piece that carries a given initial, and an empty letter means nobody has it in stock this week rather than that it never existed.

How long does the plating last?

It depends on what the piece rubs against. A bracelet wears at the disc and the clasp first, a necklace at the back of the chain. Perfume, pools and hot water shorten it. Kept dry and taken off at night, a piece here holds its colour for a season or several.

What size are the bracelets?

6+2 inches, which is a 6 inch chain with a 2 inch extension. That covers most adult wrists without a size chart.

Does it arrive ready to give?

57 of the 79 pieces state a pouch in the box. The page for each piece says which, and none of them arrive gift wrapped beyond that.

Is this solid gold?

No. Every piece is plated: a gold or white gold surface over a base metal. The maker states 14K and 18K for the plating, and those figures describe the layer, not the body of the piece.

Will it turn my skin green?

The maker calls these pieces hypoallergenic, nickel free and lead free, which is their claim rather than a test result we hold. If you react to costume jewellery, read the care page: it quotes a clinic on what a nickel reaction looks like and how soon it appears.

How long are the necklaces?

The sunflower letter necklaces run 18+2.5 inches with the extension. The crosses run 16+2 inches, and the sideways crosses are the shortest in the range.

Can I get two letters on one piece?

Not in this range. Every piece here carries a single initial, and people who want two buy two, usually one for each wrist.
